Hidey ho Bloggy friends!!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend we did indeed!
I have this thing about holidays...
I like to refer to it as GO BIG OR GO HOME.
Its a problem really but it seems only appropriate being my name is Holly that I have an obsession with 'HOLLY-DAYS'...
Valentines, St. Pattys, Easter, Canada Day, Halloween, Christmas...
I love them! I love them all! I love decorating and celebrating, I just really really love them.
So the holiday theme clothing/jewelry make an appearance every year! I typically start to wear the holiday jewelry the week leading up but it all depends on how much 'hype' that holiday gets.
Ex: Christmas, Halloween I could wear those fashion pieces for a good few weeks prior to the event but Valentines.. probably only the week of.
So anywho I had Carrot Earrings on and was thinking about what colour lip I should pair them with..
(yup that was a thought, if you're a lipstick hoarder you will understand..)
Right away I thought MAC Lady at Play, this is such a great lipstick because you can wear it really pigmented or you can 'water it down' with some clear gloss overtop.
Take a peek at the photos below:
^ Just did a light swiping of Lady at Play and used my Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker
over top for a lighter colour lip. (beware that S&G sexy mother pucker burns!! I did a blog post about it here - SMP blog post )
^ Once I caught the Lady at Play bug I couldn't stop wearing it!
These photos I went for full on pigment, I'm not really sure how to describe the shade colour..
Its kind of coral, sort of pink, a little red, maybe orange...
Its like a hybrid shade but all I know is I'm loving it for spring!
^ these are me practicing the Selfie stick.. I have an iPhone 6 plus so the selfie stick is really heavy! I'm working on angling it heheh
Mommas... Toopy and Binoo in the backround. You know what's up, quick distraction Lelly while Mommy practices her selfies ;)
And what post would be complete without a couple of shots with the babe and his basket!
The bunny left a few beach toys, book and of course a little people Mailman (wish they made a mail lady... get on that Fisher Price !! I'll send them this blog post maybe they will make me one custom hehehe)
He LOVED the plastic grass and the empty eggs! I called that the night before hahah
Hope you all had a lovely Easter and may the Chocolate bunnies be ever in your favor....
XOXO

Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThat color is perfect on you! Super cute Easter pics too. Love how into the basket the cat is. Maybe he/she was hoping the bunny left a stray can of tuna? ;)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the lip color! Man, I need to get back on the lipstick wearing band wagon! :)
ReplyDeleteThat lipstick looks amazing. I think if I bought it, I would use it up pretty quickly. I love how put-together lipstick can really make someone look!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are so in the spirit for all the holidays! Especially with having a little one, it's so wonderful to see you carrying out the traditions and festivities so your sweet little guy can start learning about them. The lip color looks great on you! It looks more pinkish in the 1st photo but more coraly in the 3rd set which is great because I am all about versatility :)
