Tis the season and the big man expects some cookies and milk,
here is what he's getting at our house!
(we had a practice cookie run had to perfect the recipe, only the best for Santa!)
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cup flour
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup bitter sweet chocolate chips
(or half bitter/half milk if you live in my house)
Preheat oven to 350
In a bowl or stand mixer cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy
add egg and vanilla blend together
mix in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt
stir in chocolate chips
Use cookie scoop and drop dough onto baking sheet
Bake 8-10 mins until barely golden brown around the edges
(the tops will not brown, do not bake beyond 10 minutes!)
Let cool then eat all of them in one sitting.
